ISO 9001/ AS 9100 Quality System
The G&I Quality Management System (QMS) is certified to both ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100. The QMS enables iRobot to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that not only meets customer and regulatory requirements, but aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application and continuous improvement of business processes.
AS9100 is a set of quality management system requirements developed for the aerospace industry by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). It is a framework that establishes the key elements of an effective quality management system. It is based upon ISO 9001. However, AS9100 has additional requirements intended to provide the means to improve quality, safety, and cost for suppliers to aerospace customers. In growing the iRobot G&I Division, our future potential is tied to having a solid and recognizable quality management system.
