How do I replace Roomba® 700, 800, and 900 Series battery?

Please use the following procedure to remove and reinstall the battery.

Please note that your robot series may vary. The battery replacement procedure will be the same for Roomba® 700, 800, and 900 series. Please refer to this support article for the 500 and 600 series.

 

  1. Unscrew the two (2) screws on the battery door, then remove the door and battery.

  2. Install the replacement battery with the label and tabs facing up.

  3. Reinstall the battery door and the two (2) screws. Take care not to pinch the side brush in the battery door when reinstalling the battery.
